LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

Wow, let it snow
indeed. I'm pretty bummed because the reality that I won't spend Christmas with my family is finally starting to set in. I tear up at the thought. I feel like being a little princess about it..."But we HAVE to be together. We are ALWAYS together on Christmas." But, alas, I don't think it is going to happen. My siblings and I were all supposed to serve Christmas dinner to the homeless and I am sad to say that won't happen. Lord, please help me to trust Your reason for this.

On a happier note, as you can tell we are happily enjoying the snow. I love the picture of Ken, so innocently holding to HUMONGOUS snowballs. Luckily he wasn't aiming at me (I think my $600 camera saved my life). But, as you can see by the action picture, he WAS aiming at the 5 year old neighbor boy. That is one tough kid, lemme tell ya. He took pelt after pelt of snowballs from ken and laughed gleefully the whole time. Fun was had by all.

So since this is my first winter with my camera its been challenging and fun to try and capture the essence of the snow and weather. I haven't even come close yet as you can see. The picture to the right of the lights was taken at night. I really need a tripod! Anywho, not bad a guess. The rose is from the in-laws house. It is photoshopped a little, added a vingnette , cropped it, and blurred out the rose head a little. But my favorite picture is of my baby nephew! He is 3 months old and growing so much! He hold his head up and is trying to hold his bottle. I can't wait to spend time with him on Christmas! Please pray for us all as we travel and as kens brother comes in from LA. We just want him here safe in time for Christmas. Merry Jesus Day!!!
